Richard Caesar

Richard trained in medicine at Cambridge University and then Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. He qualified in 1992 and then studied ophthalmic surgery in Oxford. He went on to specialise in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery with fellowship training in Oxford, and then further fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia.

Richard was awarded his certificate of completion of specialist training in 2001 and he is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.

Richard was appointed an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery to the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust in September 2003.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a founder member of the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society.
